| If you want to keep your messages private you can assign a password to your mailbox. This is done here on the security tab.

| · | Yes enable security for this mailbox: If checked enables security.
|
| · | I want to use parent's security: If checked you will have to enter the password for the parent mailbox before you can view calls, listen to messages or set properties. A parent mailbox is the mailbox to the left and up.

| · | No I will specify my own password below: Check this if you want to set a password for this mailbox.
|
| · | Password: Enter your password here.
|
| · | Verify: Enter your password again. This is to verify you entered it correctly. If you forget your password there is no way to recover it.
|
| · | Don't let other include this mailbox in their remote access list: If checked, other mailboxes will not be able to include this mailbox in their "I want hear messages from these mailboxes" list found on the Remote Access tab. This is to prevent someone from checking your messages via remote access.

| If a password is required to enter a mailbox a lock symbol will appear next to the mailbox name in the mailbox tree.

| When you successfully log into a mailbox, a logoff button will appear near the bottom of the mailbox tree. Click this button will log you off, if you forget to log off Call Soft will do it for you in 15 minutes.
