Messenger Window

The messenger window will appear when Call Soft is playing a greeting, recording a message or receiving a fax. It will also appear when you select "Test" from the mailbox tree view window,  
 
This window can appear in two forms.  
 
·Normal mode. This is how you see it when someone calls.

·Test mode. This is how you see it when you are testing your mailboxes or you click the test button clip0010.

Test keypad  
This used if you are testing a mailbox tree and is used to emulate a caller sending tones. The test keypad will always be visible even during a real call.  
 
Silence  
This tool is provided to better help you adjust the silence detection.

When a caller is recording a message, move the slide switch to adjust the silence detection threshold. The threshold line is depicted in red on the wave graph as seen above. When the waves go below the red line silence is detected and if it remains there for the timeout period the call is ended. If the waves goes above the red line the timeout countdown is reset.
