Backup incoming calls and log incoming calls setup

The backup message setup allows you to tell Call Soft where you want your messages backed up and how to name the backed up messages.  
The log incoming calls setup allows you to tell Call Soft how and where to log incoming calls.  
 
You can backup and log ALL incoming calls by choosing the option "Yes log my incoming calls" found on the General tab in setup.

Specifies the folder where you want your backed up message put.  
·Yes backup faxes also:  
If checked your faxes will be backed up.  
·Backup voice mail message in this format:  
Wave: Check this if your not concerned about saving space on your hard drive. Messages will be left in there original wave file format.  
MP3: Check this if you want the backed up message converted to MP3 format. This will save significant space.  
·Backup format:  
This specifies how you want your backed up message files to be named.  
·Just copy the original files don't rename it:  
Call Soft stores it's message files in the format msg<time>.wav where <time> is the number of seconds elapsed since January 1, 1970. So if you check the option "Just copy the original files don't rename it" the file will appear in your backup folder as msg<time>.wav.  
·No backup my messages using this format:  
This option allows you to specify how the backup file is named. You use tags to define the file's name where  
<year>    = two digit year like 02 or 03  
<month>   = two digit month  
<day>   = two digit day of month  
<hour>   = two digit military hour  
<minutes>   = two digit minute  
<seconds>   = two digit second.  
<caller>   = the caller's name as it appears on the incoming call list.  
<number>   = the caller's number.  
<digits> = Any digits the caller entered during a gather digits operation (see remote options)  

 
 
Log incoming calls setup:

·The text file you want to log all incoming calls to:  
Specifies the text file to log incoming calls to.  
·How do you want the record to appear:  
If checked your faxes will be backed up.  
·Backup voice mail message in this format:  
Specify what you want logged to the file. You use tags to do this where:  
<mailbox>    = the mailbox that the call was assigned to.  
<type>   = the type of call either voice or fax  
<name>   = the name of the caller as it appears in the incoming call list.  
<number>   = the caller's number.  
<date>   = the date the call was received.  
<time>   = the time of day the call was received.  
<length>   = the length in seconds of message assuming they left one.  
<msg>   = the wave file the message was saved to.  
<msgbkup>   = the backup file, if any, the message was backed up to.  
<action>   = the action taken on the call such as emailed, took message, hung up etc.  
<t>      = specifies a tab character. If you want the fields delimited by something else, like a comma, replace the <t> with a comma.  
Example:  
This shows what a record in the log file would look like assuming "Some Caller" called and ended the call in the Main Mailbox.
