Mailbox functions retrieving messages etc.

·When I call in I hear my main mailbox greeting but when I try to go to another mailbox I hear "Try again".  
 
Call Soft does not know what to do with the tones your sending.  
One of two things are occurring:  
 
1. The tones are not being interpreted by the modem correctly e.g. a 1 get interpreted as a 2. This is rare but may occur when using a cell phone. Either enable the "echo tones" option so you can hear what is being received or send us a debug log.  
2. Your not sending the correct tone or are misunderstanding how the mailboxes work. Remember in most cases your trying to access a child or sub mailbox of the mailbox your already in. So double check the access codes for these mailboxes.  
 
 
·I can't check my messages from another phone. I either hear "try again" or something else happens or I don't hear anything.  
 
1. Did you first go to the mailbox you want to check messages for?  
2. Try setting your remote access code to a single digit.  
3. Do you have speech enabled and using a voice that is compatable with your modem? Enable speech and set the voice to Microsoft Sam or Mike.  
 
·I have Call Soft set to notify me of a call but it doesn't even try.  
These possible causes may seem insulting but they are easily overlooked.  
Go to the notification tab in the mailbox's properties.  
Is the "Disable notifications now" checked?  
·Is the "caller must leave a message" option checked. If so did the caller leave a message?  
·Is the option enabled "Only notify me if the caller is in my phonebook and notify me is ON."? If so was the caller in your phonebook and it's notification option set to "Notify Me"? If your wondering if the caller is in your phonebook simply right click on the call and note the last menu item. If it says "Properties" the caller is in your phonebook, if it says "Add" the caller is not.

·Do you have a notification method defined? Did you include the area code for any numbers that need to be dialed?

If all the above check out but still no notification send a debug log.
