Mailbox Name:
This is the name of this mailbox. Multiple mailboxes can have the same name.

To activate this mailbox the caller must enter:
This is how the caller gets to this mailbox. For example you create a sub mailbox from the main greeting and assign a 1 as the activation key, now when the caller hits 1 from the main greeting they will be directed to this mailbox.

You can use wildcards, specify multiple codes and even a range of activation codes.

Use ? to indicate wildcard positions or period . for anything that follows.

770??
Will activate if caller enters 77000 to 77099

This is how the caller gets to this mailbox. For example you create a sub mailbox from the main greeting and assign a 1 as the activation key then when the caller hits 1 from the main greeting they will be directed to this mailbox.

Appearance:
Image: The image, if any, that will appear next to a mailbox. You can choose any bitmap image (.bmp). Call Soft comes with a few found in the Images folder (c:\program files\Call Soft\images"). If you want to use your own images you will have to first save them in .bmp format and resize them to 32 by 32. Call Soft will not stretch images to fit. If you use an image for one mailbox you will probably want to add an image to all mailboxes. This is because the mailbox tree will add a space, to all mailboxes, to accommodate an image. If one is not present, a large white space will be shown. Click the clear button to remove the mailbox image. If you remove the image from all mailboxes the mailbox tree will show normal i.e. no large spaces.
Note: You can also choose "Show mailbox images" on the General tab in setup. This will cause the mailbox image to show next to all incoming call that belong to this mailbox.

Caption: The caption is how you want this mailbox name to appear in the mailbox tree view on Call Soft's main window. You can use any text you like and can also include tags to reference some information about the mailbox.
<name>
The name of this mailbox.
<messages>
The number of new messages in this mailbox.
<2activate>
What the caller must enter to activate this mailbox.
<2previous>
What the caller must enter to access the previous mailbox.

For example if you enter "<2activate> <name> (<messages>)" this is how it will appear in the mailbox tree view if using the setting in the image above (less the image) and assuming you have 9 messages.
