| Hold Button

| The hold button setup allows you to specify what you want Call Soft to do when you click the hold button.
|
| You can choose to do nothing e.g. caller hears silence or you can play music, sound or have text spoken.
|
|
|
| To setup the hold button:
|
| From the main menu select Options then Hold Button.
|
|
|
|
| Choose the sound you want to play or define the text you want spoken.
|
| If you choose to play a sound make sure the wave file is in the format 8khz 16bit mono
|
|
|

| How to put a caller on hold.
|
| The hold button is only active (not greyed) when a call is connected. If your using Call Soft's speaker phone simply click the hold button and the caller will hear either silence or sound depending on your settings.

|
|
| Note: If your using a wave file, there might be a slight delay between when you un-click (take caller off hold) and the line becoming ready again for you to speak.
