Convert wave files to proper format
Previous  Top  Next

Any wave file, that is to be used by your modem e.g. greetings, ring etc, must be in the proper format of 8khz 16bit mono.
If Call Soft fails to play a wave file it's very possible the problem is the format. This is not uncommon if you don't use Call Soft to record your greetings or perhaps you downloaded a wave file from the Internet.
That is OK you only need to convert it using Windows Recorder.
