Backup and Restore Utility

| Call Soft has a back and restore utility that allows you to, easily, make backup's of critical files. It backs the files up into a standard ZIP file.

| Backup tab:
|

|
|
|
|
| · | Enable Auto Backup
|
| Choose this option to have all critical Call Soft files backed up.
|
| All critical files are backed up:
|
| 1. | All files are backed up usually within 60 seconds after the application starts.
|
| 2. | After any adding or editing of a mailbox.
|
| 3. | After a call has been received.
|
| 4. | Soon after 12 PM a full backup is done.
|
| The backup is ran in a separate thread (as if it was a separate application) so it will not prevent you from using Call Soft e.g. act like it's locked up.
|
|
|
| Any backup files older than 15 days are automatically removed.
|
|
|
| Put the backup files in this folder:
|
| The folder where you want to put the back up files. Click the "Default" button to use Call Soft's normal backup folder.
|
|
|
| To make a backup manually click the "Backup Now" button.
|
| To see the result of all back up processes click the "View Log" button and to clear the log (it gets very long) click the "Clear Log" button.

| Restore Tab
|
| Here your able to restore old mailbox files, caller messages, phone book files and greetings.
|
|
|
|
|
|
| All backup files are shown in the list at the top. Call Soft gets these files from the path defined on the backup tab however any backup files found in the default backup folder will be shown also. The "Backup" folder in Call Soft's folder is the default.

| Select a backup file by clicking on it. When you do this the contents will be examined and the number of pertinent files will be shown next to the type of file to restore i.e. Mailboxes (1), Messages (388) etc.

| Select the type of files to restore by putting a check mark next to the selection.
|
|
|
| Click the restore button to extract the files. When you return to the main screen the changes will be reflected.
|
|
|
| Note: If you restore messages your current messages will NOT be deleted. Call Soft will add the calls in the backup file to your existing list of incoming calls.
