Assigning a modem

| It is critical that you have a voice modem. If you don't know if you have a voice modem Call Soft can help. To assign a modem and check it's capabilities click on the "Options" button on Call Soft's main window. When the option window appears, click the "General" tab. Select your modem from the list then click the "Will this modem work?" button to see if your modem has what it takes.

| Call Soft will query your modem's capabilities then show the results. The summary, listed at the bottom of the window, will tell you what features of Call Soft you will be able to use. If Call Soft says you don't have a voice modem see trouble shooting.
